Terms of use
The agreement between you and us for the PixoNotes app, its plans and this website, in plain words.
The app
PixoNotes is licensed to you, not sold. You may use it on your own Macs. You may not resell it, or take it apart to get round its plan limits.
Your notes are yours. Nothing in these terms gives us any right to them, and we cannot see them.
Free and Pro
The free plan has notes, code, every copy format, 2 boards and 5 stickies on the desktop at once. Pro adds sync, more boards, more stickies, Apple Intelligence on notes and text tools, and is sold as a subscription: $2.99 a month or $19.90 a year. One licence works on 3 Macs at once. There is no trial and no lifetime plan.
A subscription renews until you cancel it, which you can do at any time from the account page. It then runs to the end of the period you paid for. Going back to the free plan hides none of your notes, and export and backup stay free.
Payment and refunds
Polar takes the payment and is the seller of record, so its terms apply to the purchase, and it handles tax. Prices are in US dollars. Write to [email protected] within 30 days of buying and we will refund you.
Your responsibility for your notes
PixoNotes keeps daily backups and a Recently Deleted list, and sync uses a folder you own. Even so, notes are on your Mac and in your folder, not with us, so we cannot recover them for you. Keep your own backups of anything that matters. Sync depends on the folder you choose and whoever provides it.
Apple Intelligence
AI features need a Mac with Apple Intelligence available and turned on, and Apple's models can be wrong. Check what they write before you rely on it.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided as it is. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not promise it is free of faults. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last twelve months. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Do not try to break, overload or copy this website. What the website records is in the privacy policy.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Using the app after a change means you accept it. Questions go to [email protected]. PixoNotes is made by Sanjeev Maharjan.
